Compassion in Healthcare — A flagship institution of Shivhari Dharma Foundation Trust, dedicated to accessible, dignified medical care for all.
Jaitrinath Arogya Sansthan is the flagship healthcare initiative of Shivhari Dharma Foundation Trust — a planned not-for-profit charitable hospital envisioned to bring quality, compassionate medical care to the people of Lalganj, Madhubani, Darbhanga and the wider Mithila region of Bihar.
Named after Lord Jaitrinath — an embodiment of divine healing and victory over suffering — the institution is dedicated to public service without distinction of caste, creed, religion or economic standing.
Its foundation stone (शिलान्यास) was laid on 4 May 2026 in the presence of Shri Mantreshwar Jha (IAS) — marking the start of work on a planned G+4 medical campus built in phases over the coming years.
Proposed Structure · Work in ProgressA charitable hospital, built in three phases over FY27–FY30 (preceded by a pre-construction & mobilisation stage) — designed to serve, not to profit.
Madhubani District is home to over 4.5 million people in a largely agrarian economy — yet specialist medical care remains out of reach for most. Patients needing ICU stabilisation, advanced diagnostics or surgery must typically travel 80–300 km to Darbhanga, Muzaffarpur or Patna.
Jaitrinath Arogya Sansthan is being built to close that gap — bringing quality, dignified, affordable healthcare home to the Mithila region.
Architect's Concept Render
A phased model delivers healthcare to the community early — while construction and capacity continue to grow.
Pre-Construction & Mobilisation · FY27 (Q1–Q3) — land filling & site development, statutory plan approvals, clinical-establishment licensing and Phase 1 fundraising, ahead of construction commencing in FY27 Q4.
Ground-floor OPD, Emergency & Pharmacy; ICU & high-dependency beds; first specialty OPDs. Limited operations begin in FY28.
Specialty OPDs, an inpatient ward and expanded diagnostics, plus a targeted oncology day-care service for the region.
Operation theatre & day-care surgery, telemedicine and a paramedical training centre. NABH accreditation targeted.
The complete development — construction, medical equipment, three years of operating support and a contingency reserve — is costed at ₹15.00 Crore, raised and deployed phase by phase.
Each phase begins only when it is fully funded — so every rupee given turns directly into care for the community.
A detailed Project Report — vision, the need, phased plan, costing and governance — prepared for donors and CSR partners.
The hospital is entirely donor-funded through its development. Contributions can be directed to a specific phase — an OPD block, the ICU, diagnostics or equipment — with naming-rights recognition available for major gifts.
As a registered charitable trust, donations to Shivhari Dharma Foundation are eligible for income-tax benefits under Section 12A & Section 80G.
A landmark beginning for Mithila — and for the Trust's mission of Seva Parmo Dharma.
On 4 May 2026, the Trust held the foundation-stone ceremony (शिलान्यास) at the hospital site in Paitghat, Lalganj. The chief guest unveiled the foundation stone and addressed the assembled gathering — formally marking the start of construction.
The ceremony was attended by community leaders, dignitaries, well-wishers and members of the public — reflecting the widespread support for the Trust's vision of bringing quality healthcare to every door.
